This page explains what Bet Notebook (“we”, “us”) collects when you use betnotebook.com, why, and what you can do about it. It's written to describe what the product actually does today rather than as boilerplate — if anything here doesn't match your experience of the app, that's a bug in the policy, tell us.
Account information: the email and username you sign up with, and your password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see it in plain text).
Bet data you enter: bets, stakes, odds, results, bankroll deposits/withdrawals, accounts, bookmakers, and any notes or screenshots you add. This is the core data the app exists to store, and it's yours — see “Your choices” below.
Bet-slip screenshots: if you upload a screenshot to auto-fill a bet, the image is sent to Google's Gemini API to read the bet details off it, and the image itself is stored in our database (Supabase Storage) so you can view it again later from your own bet history.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only keep the subscription status and Stripe customer ID needed to know which plan you're on.
Technical/error data: if something breaks, error details (via Sentry) may include the page you were on and non-sensitive request metadata, to help us fix it. We don't run any advertising or marketing analytics/tracking on this site.
To run the product: storing your bets so you can review them, using your screenshot to save you re-typing a bet slip by hand, billing you for the plan you chose, and fixing things when they break. Nothing here is used to sell you anything else or shared with advertisers.
Only the services required to run the product: Supabase (database, auth, file storage), Stripe (payments), Google Gemini (reading bet screenshots you choose to upload), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each only receives what it needs to do its job. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.
You can export your own data at any time from Settings (an Excel file of your bets, accounts, and transactions). You can delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your bets, bankroll history, and screenshots — this can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy. If you'd rather we handle a request by hand, email support@betnotebook.com.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in (via Supabase Auth). Your theme preference (light/dark) is saved in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, so there's no cookie-consent banner — the cookie we do use is strictly necessary for the site to function.
If this policy changes in a way that meaningfully affects how your data is handled, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Email support@betnotebook.com any time.
